Join Chef Edward Hardy of Harlem’s Red Rooster

Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia
Graduated from UVa. in 2002. While in school Ed began his cooking career first as a way to impress the co-eds, then as a way to pay the bills  at Southern Culture. He went on cook at several different places in Richmond and DC. Although he tried his hand as a political operative for awhile, the pull of the stove was too strong and in 2006 enrolled at the French Culinary Institute in New York City. While in New York he has worked as a Sous Chef for Danny Meyer at Cafe 2 /The Modern, Chef Tournant at Aquavit and Chef of the ING Private Dining Room. Currently Tournant for Marcus Samuelsson at the new Red Rooster Harlem, he looks forward to returning to his native Virginia to cook soon.
